This nightclub is a taste of the night life you would typically find in Chicago or New York. With no windows to the outside world, this dark disco is most noted for its second floor VIP. Dark walls lavish the inside, along with silver beading, see through floors and a large dance floor.

The first floor has a medium size bar, that is absolutely packed on weekends. The modern area is small, to make room for the large dance floor that takes up the majority of the first level. Large speakers and a high ceiling serve as the only compliments to a sizeable dance floor, which is where most ravers spend their time. There are multiple routes to find a comfortable haven upstairs, but the stairs are narrow and dark – so watch your step!

The upstairs of Diesel nightclub is where you will find the ballers of the city. A VIP that Pittsburgh After Work would highly recommend for a birthday bash or somewhere to spend a holiday bonus. There are plenty of tables and a large bar upstairs, to accommodate those that can get by the over staffed crew of bouncers guarding each stairwell. Hanging beads are the only thing that separates table from table, and see through floors in some of the VIP lounges provide the people downstairs with some entertainment as well.

Overall, Diesel is one of the trendiest Pittsburgh bars and probably the hottest Pittsburgh nightclub. Girls and guys are dressed to the nines, and you swear you might be in a bigger city depending on how much hard liquor you consume. Personally, we would recommend checking out this club. It really depends on the type of scene you prefer on a weekend. If dancing and good looking broads are something you don’t mind, then this is the place for you. If you are looking for a low key hangout, even the places across the street vibrate from the music pumping from Diesel.
