For those of you who do not know what twitter is it’s a free & easy way to communicate to groups of people via text messaging. We want to be able to send our readers live updates on where the best bar deals are currently occurring in Pittsburgh. Twitter gives us the ability to update our readers instantly. We will be providing “tweets” via two account names “pghafterworker” & “PGHAlerts” we urge you to follow both to ensure you’re up to date on the best deals in Pittsburgh. We will be diligent on the amount of texts sent and ensure the texts are strictly about good bar deals in Pittsburgh. The purpose of this is to alert our readers to the best deals in Pittsburgh in hopes of saving everyone a bit of money and as always to have a good time.

All you have to do is go to twitter and take a minute to sign up by following the instructions below.

1. Signup for a Twitter Account if you do not already have one.
2. Click on the “Get Started – Join!” Button in green.
3. Create a unique username & password, and then enter your email address.
4. Under your screen name, click on “Add Device”.
5. Add your mobile phone number and follow the instructions to verify your phone.
6. Refresh the “Devices” page ensuring that Notifications are set to “On”.
7. In the upper right, click on “Home”.
8. In the search box at the top, search for “pghafterworker” and then do the same thing for “PGHAlerts”.
9. Next to the correct profile name and to the far right, click “Follow”.
10. Click “Home” at the top.
11. Click “Following” on the right hand side column.
12. Under the correct profile name, ensure Device Updates is set to “On”.
13. That is all!
14. To verify to be safe: Click “Home” at the top right, click “Following” in the right hand side column. When the screen appears you should see our profile names “pghafterworker” & “PGHalerts”, and Device Updates should be set to “On”.
