Alright this is going to be the first in a 2 part bar review. We are going to forensically examine the ins and outs of our 2 favorite strip clubs, Blush and the Tennyson.

Part1 – Blush

Blush is one of my favorite places. On earth. Ever.

Why?, lets start with the lunch buffet. Is there any better way to curb your thoughts of the hot intern at work than going to a strip club at lunch? Scrumptious chicken and Uncle Ben’s finest rice are served buffet style, making this the perfect location for your next corporate lunch or conference call.

Once you get past the shark chum they pass off as food, it’s directly onto the boobs. Lots of them. All bouncing in perfect harmony to the beat of blasting music. Honestly, what the chicken lacks in flavor the girls make up for in tits. Large, beautiful, fake breasts are scattered throughout the club and are only a few random dollar bills away. On the stage there is a pole placed at both ends and gorgeous, stoned strippers dancing away.

While Blush is definitely my favorite Pittsburgh strip club, by far the biggest knock on this place is the bar. Some places, like Erotica, make you pay a cover but then let you drink your face off for the rest of the night, no extra charge. At Blush, you have to buy every drink you have and the drinks aren’t cheap. At roughly $5 a beer you better have a pretty good buzz going before you walk into the place.

Now onto the defining aspect of Blush, the one characteristic that separates them from their competition. While most strip clubs are just a place for guys to hang out and stare at naked chicks, I have a sneaking suspicion that Blush takes this concept to the next level. Don’t get me wrong I understand that strippers give head and bang their customers for a living but that was on a much more abstract / joking level. Now, let me be clear I have no actual proof to support this, but I think Blush has everything a titty bar would need to be considered a “full service” club. There is obviously a strip club that houses the girls, next to the club there is a sex toy store, and above the club there are numerous random “apartments”. Now, I don’t want to jump to conclusions and says it’ a brothel, but I’d be willing to bet that a trick or two have been turned in those apartments.
